Sautéed Sesame Snow Peas


1 tablespoon dark sesame oil

8 ounces trimmed snow peas (about 3 cups)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds


  • Pour sesame oil in a large skillet and swirl to coat.  
  • Heat the skillet to medium.  
  • Add snow peas and sauté about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add sesame seeds and sauté another minute or two until the edges of some of the snow peas begin to brown slightly.  
  • This recipe makes 3 servings and each serving contains approximately 88 calories and 6 grams of fat.
